Hello Lomas Eagles Community!

 

My name is Laura George, and I’m thrilled to be back on the PTO team for another amazing school year with our Eagle Community as the PTO President. Our PTO board listed have 12 students still attending Lomas through different grades, alumni students, and even one board member who’s a Lomas Eagle Alumni! We truly appreciate this community.

 

With gratitude comes:

 

• How can we keep growing and supporting our community?
• How can we give back to a community that’s supported our children and us so much?
• How can we get involved?
• Can we help create a stronger sense of community?
• What can we do to show our support for every child, parent, teacher, and person who walks onto our campus?

 

To keep working on these principles, we have some historical goals and new goals to continue partnering with the school on:

 

• Supporting educational strategies
• Hosting school and community events throughout the year to bring us all together in fun and support our children’s educational pathways
• Fundraising to support these initiatives

 

How does the PTO accomplish these initiatives?

 

Any level of support you can give to this community is amazing! Whether it’s 30 minutes of volunteer time at an event (check out the sign-up geniuses!), welcoming new faces to the school with a smile and hello, donating supplies, attending a dining night out event, or supporting the Book Fairs are all great examples that will come up this year. All of this support adds up to our children’s community growing together.

 

Please see the attached calendar for the events we’ve planned so far for the year and stay tuned for more details as we have them to share. We can’t wait to partner with this community again for our children!
